…ain it all back in a matter of weeks. What did it leave me with? A very slow and grumpy metabolism. I find it almost impossible to lose weight now unless I resort to overexercising and avoiding food altogether. Before, I could shed 5 kilos in less than two weeks, and now I can barely lose 1 kg a month.
You might be getting into the same cycle as crash dieting by doing this. It is the cycle of extreme and quite common. This is what I do for a living now... coach people to help them build healthy habits/ lifestyle so they can achieve their fitness goals in a sustainable manner and build a healthier relationship with food and exercise in the process. Take it slow and steady. It take time to build lean muscles which in turn improves metabolism. You've got this :)
