I am also not too sure about this change. It probably wont affect experienced writers whose stories typically used to get distrinbuted but for new ones it is definitely a setback. When I started, I used to track the stories that were not distributed and analyse by comparing them with the distributed ones to improve myself. Unfortunately this wont be possible anymore! Let's hope it's for the better in the long run though :)
